Being a stay-at-home dad for several years, I’ve spent a good bit of time on playgrounds. They’ve always called to me in some way, but having a child gave me reason to really get in there and play. While many of the moms sat on the benches chatting, I was running around with the kids, playing freeze tag and climbing around on structures playing “don’t touch the ground” (what we as kids called “hot lava”). We’ve got some great parks and play spaces around but doing some research on play in public spaces led me to this site about a playground in Weisbaden Germany. This looks so cool and I would love to check it out! I could spend days there!
